Do pre-existing conditions wait?
Yes — 12 months for in-hospital treatment, 3 months for out-patient, and 3 months for coronary cover, on every plan.
How long is the maternity waiting period?
9 months when both spouses are insured, and 12 months for a wife insured on her own.
Is bariatric surgery covered?
On every plan except Essential Care, which excludes it.
What about nose-related surgery?
Nose surgery waits 24 months from the start of cover.
